The Real McCoy's is known for their stunning reproductions and for pulling out ever rarer pieces of kit from the depths of the Quartermaster's catalog. The AL-1 Hood, Parka doesn't disappoint on either count. A unique piece of US Navy uniform, the AL-1 parka hood was developed in the immediate postwar period for use in extreme cold climates in conjunction with the AL-1 Flight Jacket. What makes it standout is its dickey design with a full hood and bib that reached below the arms. a full length zipper closes the neck from the cold while the hood itself is fur trimmed.

As you'd expect, The Real McCoy's in the details. The hood featured a vintage 1950s brass Talon zipper, authentic label sewn into the neck and full wool alpaca lining like the original.

Only one size of course. The hood can be worn with other jackets either below or on top.
